Graduated from University of Wales college of Medicine with BSc (hons) in 1998 and specialised in MSK with a PGDip in 2003 and PhD in 2015. Worked clinically across a broad portfolio of clinical rehabilitation work in primary, urgent and planned care environments. I have a passion and enthusiasm for delivering person centred and value-based healthcare. I have had many roles within Value in Health teams and clinical lead for benefits realisation. After a short spell as clinical lead in the policy space within Welsh Government I have been working as Clinical lead for MSK health within the newly formed NHS performance and Improvement to influence future healthcare delivery in Wales. I will soon be joining the value transformation of this organisation focused on value based health care.
