Dr David Cashley has been practicing podiatry for 30 years. He is currently the clinical director of Active Health in Dundee and is also an Honorary Clinical Research Fellow with the University of Dundee Medical School and a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, Glasgow. He is the podiatrist for two professional football clubs in the Scottish Premier League. His extensive research into forefoot pain earned him a PhD from Queen Margaret University. He has published multiple scientific papers and a textbook chapter on foot pain and lectures internationally on the subject. His special interest is in forefoot pain and the role of manipulation in foot and ankle disorders. In his spare time, David enjoys road cycling and weight training. He still keeps his rugby boots just in case the team is short, but the call never comes!
