Aisling Freir is a Musculoskeletal and Pelvic Health Physiotherapist with over 10 years of clinical experience across Ireland and the UK. She is Head of Women’s Health at Pure Sports Medicine, where she established and leads the service, and is currently completing her MSc in Pelvic Health Physiotherapy at Brunel University. Aisling has contributed to postgraduate education, including tutoring on pregnancy and postnatal rehabilitation courses. Her MSc dissertation explores the association between pelvic floor symptoms and lower limb rate of force development. Her clinical interests include endometriosis, pelvic pain, and the integration of pelvic health within musculoskeletal and sports rehabilitation. She is passionate about empowering women to have autonomy over their bodies and healthcare. Her work also focuses on supporting clinicians to identify and screen for pelvic health symptoms and consider the role of pelvic health within musculoskeletal assessment and rehabilitation.
