British Association of Sport Rehabilitators (BASRaT)

BASRaT is the UK regulator and professional association for Sport Rehabilitators, supporting clinical practice through rigorous standards, professional development and international opportunities.

Our register is accredited by the Professional Standards Authority, giving patients, employers and healthcare partners independent assurance. Accredited degree programmes, a minimum of 400 hours of supervised clinical placements and a national registration examination underpin our commitment to professional competence and public protection.

For practitioners, Graduate Registration combines professional liability insurance with access to a 24/7 legal helpline, free CPD, professional guidance and a free Rehab Guru Pro subscription. Our International Arrangement also provides eligible registrants with pathways to apply for professional certification in the USA, Canada and Ireland.

From private practice and professional sport to the NHS and Ministry of Defence, BASRaT champions the contribution of Sport Rehabilitators across healthcare.
