The Kinetec Kinevia AL and AL+ are versatile therapeutic exercise systems designed to support the rehabilitation of the upper and lower limbs. Combining innovative technology with adaptable patient positioning, Kinevia provides therapists with a flexible solution that can support rehabilitation from the early stages through to longer-term maintenance.

Three Modes of Movement

A key feature of the Kinevia range is its three complementary exercise modes:

• Passive – the device moves the patient's limbs when they are unable to generate sufficient movement themselves.
• Assisted – the system supports the patient's movement while encouraging them to contribute actively.
• Active – the patient generates the movement independently, allowing them to exercise and develop strength and endurance.

This flexibility enables therapists to adapt exercise according to the patient's current abilities and rehabilitation progress.

Upper and Lower Limb Rehabilitation

Kinevia can be configured for both arm and leg exercises, providing a comprehensive movement therapy solution from a single device. Adjustable crank positions and a range of accessories allow the equipment to be adapted to individual patients.

Upper limb options include 3-point arm adjustment, ergonomic handlebars, gloves and an arm guidance system. Lower limb options include premium pedals, 3-point leg adjustment, foot-lock fastening and calf supports, helping provide appropriate positioning, stability and comfort during exercise.

Intelligent Safety and Assistance

Kinevia incorporates a six-level anti-spasm detection system, which continuously monitors movement and responds according to the patient's needs. The system can stop, reverse or continue movement, providing a responsive approach to exercise and supporting safe therapy sessions.

Kinevia AL

The Kinevia AL provides the essential functionality of the range, with passive, active and assisted movement modes, a 7" screen, adjustable arm and leg positioning and standard pedals. It offers a practical and adaptable solution for rehabilitation environments where flexibility and ease of use are key priorities.

Kinevia AL+

The Kinevia AL+ builds on the AL platform with additional features designed to enhance positioning, comfort and usability. Standard features include a 10" touchscreen, horizontal arm module adjustment, gas-assisted arm height adjustment, premium pedals with foot-lock system, calf supports and anti-tilting brackets.

The 10" touchscreen provides enhanced visibility of exercise parameters, statistics and settings, while the additional adjustment options allow therapists to achieve more precise positioning for individual patients.

Rehabilitation Applications

The Kinevia range can be incorporated into rehabilitation programmes for a variety of conditions and patient groups, including stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, paraplegia, neurological and muscle disorders, orthopaedic and post-operative rehabilitation, osteoarthritis and general physical conditioning.
