Foot & Arch Pressure Plate: foot pressure and gait analysis system
Foot & Arch Pressure Plate: foot pressure and gait analysis system
See exactly how your patients stand, balance and walk. The Foot & Arch Pressure Plate maps the load under each foot in seconds, turning what you'd otherwise judge by eye into clear, colour-coded, objective data that patients understand straight away.
A patient simply stands, then walks, across the plate. Its high-density sensor array records pressure distribution, centre-of-pressure path, contact area and left/right balance. The software then classifies arch type and produces a printable report ready to discuss in the same appointment.
Key features
- High-resolution sensing. A 64 × 64 sensor array (4,096 pressure points) gives a detailed plantar pressure map.
- Static and dynamic assessment. It covers standing posture and balance, plus heel-to-toe roll-over during walking.
- Instant visual reports. Heatmaps, centre-of-pressure trajectory, contact-area and force curves, and foot arch-type classification.
- Built for orthotics. Objective data to guide insole and orthotic prescription and footwear advice.
- Track progress. Repeat scans let you measure change over a course of treatment.
- Patient engagement. When people see their own data on screen, they understand the problem and stick to the plan.
- Fast and simple to use. The plate is portable, quick to set up and runs on any standard Windows PC.
Ideal for: podiatry, MSK physiotherapy, sports injury and performance clinics, orthotic and insole services, diabetic foot screening, and retail footwear fitting.
