Fascial Manipulation - Stecco Method

Fascial Manipulation® Specialist Flavio Bosi to Present Live Stecco Method Demonstration at Therapy Expo Birmingham

BIRMINGHAM, UK – Fascial Manipulation UK (operated by Una Anna Academy), the official full-body course provider for the renowned Stecco Method, has announced that dual-qualified practitioner Flavio Bosi will lead an exclusive live practical demonstration at the upcoming Therapy Expo in Birmingham.

The session, titled "The Fascial Manipulation Method: an introduction," will take place on 26 November 2026 from 15:50 to 16:20 inside the Clinical Skills Lab feature area. It offers UK-based physiotherapists, osteopaths, chiropractors, and sports therapists a first-hand look at the original manual therapy system.

Developed by Italian physiotherapist Luigi Stecco and backed by over 40 years of anatomical and clinical research, Fascial Manipulation® views the fascia as a three-dimensional continuum connecting muscles, joints, and internal organs. The method treats the body globally, mapping out precise dysfunctions to locate densified areas known as Centers of Coordination (CCs) and Centers of Fusion (CFs).

The 30-minute interactive session led by Flavio Bosi will cover:

• Real-Time Practical Application: A live demonstration of Stecco's precise palpatory verification and friction techniques used to locate and release fascial densification.
• Global Clinical Reasoning: How practitioners can use 3D clinical evaluation to link local symptoms and remote or past injuries to current movement limitations.
• Evidence-Based Mechanics: The science behind altering tissue tension to instantly restore normal proprioception, postural balance, and harmonious joint movement.

"Only a knowledgeable hand is powerful," said Flavio Bosi, MChiro, BSc (Hons) Physio, and one of only four Certified Fascial Manipulation Specialists in the UK. "We are thrilled to bring the original Stecco Method to the Clinical Skills Lab. This live demonstration will show clinicians exactly how integrating global fascial science can deliver realistic, lasting outcomes for complex locomotor and systemic dysfunctions."

Therapy Expo attendees are encouraged to arrive early at the Clinical Skills Lab theatre on 26 November at 15:50 to secure a seat. Representatives from Fascial Manipulation UK will be available following the session to discuss the fully accredited 2027 UK Hybrid Course calendar (Level I through Level IV) hosted in Cambridge.
